Membership
Any resident of Australia can become a member of Family First Bank.
Becoming a member
To become a member, simply:
- Complete a membership application form
- Subscribe for a member share in Family First
The member share is a redeemable preference share. This means that, when you resign your membership of Family First, we refund you the subscription price. Your member share is not transferable.

Apply at a branch
Before you visit us, please note that government legislation requires that when you first open a new account with a financial institution, you need to bring along proof of your identity.
In-Person Applications
The documents produced need to be originals, examples include:
- Photo driver’s licence or photo ID proof of age card or passport, or
- Birth Certificate
