COVID – 19 Update

COVID – 19 Update

As you would most likely be aware, a COVID outbreak on the Northern beaches known as the ‘Avalon cluster’ is threatening further lockdown in the lead up to Christmas.

As such we are asking that all members who have travelled in the Greater Sydney (including the Blue Mountains), Central Coast and Wollongong areas to check the COVID – 19 Hotspots link to see whether they need to be tested an self isolate in accordance with NSW Health directives.

We have also had to re-apply the 1 person per 4 square metre rule to our Blackheath branch as it forms part of the Blue Mountains which is considered part of the Greater Sydney area. All other branches and offices in Mudgee, Lithgow and Bathurst remain unaffected and at this point is subject to the 1 person per 2 square metre rule.

When entering all our branch and office locations, you will be required to sign in with a QR code specific to the location visited, which is being done to enable and assist contact tracing should a local COVID – 19 outbreak occur.

We fully understand that the timing is not great around Christmas and the festive season however ask for your continued co-operation in relation to this to ensure that the safety of our staff and members and that of the local communities is the first and foremost priority.

Many thanks and merry Christmas!
