Preliminary Notice of 2021 Annual General Meeting and Call For Nominations For Directors

In accordance with the Constitution of Family First Credit Union Limited we are calling for nominations from the membership of Family First Credit Union for suitably qualified and eligible candidates to stand for the position of a member elected Director.

At the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 9th November 2021, there will be three (3) vacant member elected Directors position to be filled. Directors Colin Lenton, Peter Cafe and Antony Benetatos, who will complete their required terms at this year’s AGM, have indicated that they will be standing for re-election.

The nomination letter, and all relevant forms, must be received by 5.00pm on Tuesday 7th September 2021.

 Preferred Skills / Qualifications

The business of a Credit Union is complex and the responsibilities of a Director are many, requiring a Director to possess a general understanding and knowledge of the following areas:

  • Banking and Finance industry
  • Business Management
  • Risk and Compliance Management
  • Information Technology & Security
  • Legislative and regulatory requirements for banking and finance
  • Accounting
  • Insurance
  • Human Resources
  • Financial Management

If you are looking for a rewarding Directorship involving a highly regarded community organisation; have the necessary financial skills, experience in setting general strategy and overseeing their achievement; are an existing member of at least two years standing; and have the ability to devote time to properly fulfil board duties then for further information and nomination forms, etc, please contact:
