New Payments Platform (NPP)

Make payments in real-time using just a mobile phone number, an email address or an Australian Business Number (ABN)

  • It’s simple – for those who participate when the services become available, you’ll be able to register a PayID to send and receive payments using a mobile number, an email address or an ABN instead of a BSB and account number do not need to use a BSB and account number
  • It’s secure – each payment needs to be approved before it can go through, giving you more security and control over the payment just as secure as a standard transfer
